Amazon has about 49% market share in US e-commerce. A big sales boost could see it through to over 50%. Other strong retailers are taking a combined 22%. The rest is nibbled away at by millions of tiny retailers. Amazon is a Goliath in very different sectors. One is the internet cloud, a booming business.
