Pop-rock Young Lyons “Crash Course” EP (Self-released) In the best possible way, Tulsa rockers Young Lyons make quite the impact with their self-released debut EP, “Crash Course.” The fledgling electro-pop quartet needs just 23 minutes — the EP includes five original songs, plus radio edits of “Kill” and “Girlfriend’s Got Me Down” — to call to mind the anthemic energy of fellow Oklahomans All-American Rejects, the synthpop peculiarities of Passion Pit and the dark-bright emotive resonance of early Weezer.
