Akron firefighters on Thursday extinguished a house fire at 109 Kent Court.The fire broke out about 6:20 p.m. in a bathroom wall, officials said.It was quickly brought under control.The cause of the fire is under investigation.It caused $5,000 damage, the Akron Fire Department reported.The family was sheltered by the Red Cross.
