A massive new study analyzing how AI chatbots respond to political questions suggest a slight left-leaning favor. Large language models (LLMs) like those powering OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google’s Gemini, and Anthropic’s Claude chatbots tend to produce responses aligned with left-of-center political beliefs, according to a new study of 24 major AI products that was published in the journal PLOS One.
