KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — Doctors Without Borders says it is pressing its demand for an independent investigation of the tragic U.S. airstrike that hit a hospital run by the medical charity in northern Afghanistan, killing 22 people. Thursday's demand came a day after President Barack Obama apologized for the Oct. 3 bombing, which also killed 12 medical staff.
