The Acton woman accused of killing her ex-husband Wednesday had lost custody of two children in a divorce judgment less than a week before the alleged murder and was facing foreclosure of her home, court records show. The divorce of Kandee and Scott Weyland, finalized Feb. 17 in Springdale District Court, followed an intense, acrimonious court battle that began last year when the couple filed competing protection from abuse orders against each other. Kandee Weyland, 46, was charged with the murder of 42-year-old Scott Weyland following a confrontation outside a home on Milford Mills Road, and is being held at York County Jail in Alfred.
