Accused Stamford Bank Robber Faces New Charges

STAMFORD — A Norwalk man accused of a series of bank robberies faces new charges for using a counterfeit check to withdraw more than $10,000, police said. Joseph Boccuzzi, 34, who has been held in lieu of $1 million bond at the Northern Correctional Institution in Somers, appeared this week in the Stamford courthouse where he was charged with second-degree larceny and forgery.
