Eighteen graduates of Duval County public schools gathered at the Museum of Science & History Friday night to raise awareness of accelerated programs in high schools and give the school district feedback on their experiences. The forum was comprised of undergraduate and graduate students from an array of universities who had graduated from a local high school accelerated learning program. The forum was led by School Board Chairwoman Betty Burney. The students were asked to share their experiences in the accelerated learning programs. read more
