An Oakland County Sheriff's Office emergency dispatcher assisted a Walled Lake couple in delivering their baby on Monday evening.The sheriff's office received a 911 call at 6:29 p.m. reporting a woman was in labor and required emergency assistance. Dispatch Specialist Lisa Ludwig, using her training in emergency medical, fire, and police dispatch protocols, identified the delivery of the infant would be imminent.
