How good are promags? Crappiest mag I ever bought. Was in a rush for a spare mag for a 1911 I bought years ago. Most of them the follower looked deformed or cracked on the shelf. I picked the prettiest looking one. It wouldn’t even slide in and out of the gun without sticking because the mag body wasn’t the right size. 12/22/2024 - 5:41 am | View Link
Lipsey's .32 H&R Magnum Ruger LCR LCRs in any flavor are bulkier than similar flavor j frames. LCR .357 or .327 are the ones to have and they’re like a brick in the pocket. My Sig p290 pocket carries better. While .32h&r ain’t that bad, for a weaker shooter a .22 mag or .22lr j frame or lcr is probably more manageable and more rounds 12/22/2024 - 4:58 am | View Link

Desert Eagle 41/44 questions. The manual cautions against lead/non-jacketed bullets(can plug the gas port), and recomends full power 158gr jacketed bullet ammo. I would imagine the .44 mag and .41 mag versions probably share similiar requirements. I can say that the DE .357 mag works great, and is as accurate as anybodys .357 magnum. Not a handgun suitable for ankle carry!!! 12/20/2024 - 8:09 pm | View Link

Moo Deng. It’s a name millions around the world have come to know. She’s the most obsessed-over, least controversial celebrity. Her dewy skin, her enviable lifestyle of frolicking and feasting, her eminently meme-able face have all made her an icon of the internet. She’s also … a hippopotamus.

Champ Bailey says college football’s future wears shades and a cowboy hat. If your school isn’t looking for its own Coach Prime Effect after 2024, it’s not just missing the boat, baby. It’s kissing the gravy train goodbye.
“Prime, to me, is the trend,” Bailey, the Broncos icon, Pro Football Hall of Famer and TNT/Warner Discovery college football analyst, reflected earlier this month when asked about CU football coach Deion Sanders.
“He’s one of a kind.

Here’s what to know about the devastating accident and the latest on the possible causes.
Sen. Marsha Blackburn wants us to believe grandpa has a "mandate" to annex Canada and Greenland, invade Mexico and steal the Panama Canal.
Here's our number two candidate for the dumbest person in the Senate (I think Tuberville has her topped) sanewashing Trump's recent insanity threatening all of our allies, with Kellyanne ConJob who was filling in for Hannity on Fox this Monday:
CONWAY: Senator Blackburn, I think many people have questions tonight about the Panama Canal, about Greenland, about President Trump issuing warnings about tariffs to comply or incentivize other countries' behaviors.
The beautiful state of Wyoming is unfortunately tainted by extremism, now more than ever. For the first time anywhere in the country, the hard-right Freedom Caucus has won control of a state house. Via the New York Times:
After ousting a slew of Republican incumbents they viewed as too liberal in a caustic primary, and then galloping to victory in November, members of the ultraconservative caucus hope to cement their meteoric climb to power by passing five priority bills in the first 10 days.
Their agenda, known as the Five and Dime Plan, aims to immediately tighten election rules, invalidate drivers’ licenses issued to undocumented immigrants by other states, prohibit college diversity initiatives, prohibit the state from considering environmental concerns when making investment decisions and reduce property taxes.
“We’re going to unwoke the state,” Representative Jeremy Haroldson, the next speaker pro tem, said.
This clown actually received applause for this at the Turning Point USA conference in Phoenix, AZ last Saturday.
BECK: But Jackson and Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson, who destroyed us. (Crowd boos.) Thank you. I love anyone who hates Wilson as much as me.
They kept moving us, slowly but surely moving us towards total control, and by the time we got to Joe Biden, we were right here.
