Police in San Jose have turned the domestic violence case against Ray McDonald, the 49ers defensive linebacker, to the District Attorney’s Office, who will refview the evidence before deciding whether to press charges or not, prosecutors said Thursday. Neither the 49ers nor the NFL have suspended McDonald, with 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh and league Commissioner Roger Goodell saying they would let the criminal investigation play out.
