The man who critically injured a bartender while shooting into a Greeley bar after hours Saturday morning fired 59 rounds into the building less than an hour after he had been kicked out of the bar for fighting, according to arrest records. A Clear Creek County District Court judge on Monday dropped the criminal charges filed against two gaming officers who were on scene the night 22-year-old Christian Glass was shot and killed by police, according to court records. The charges were dropped because the statute that mandates law enforcement officers intervene to prevent another officer from using unnecessary force doesn’t apply to gaming officers, according to court documents. “The legislature needs to fix this loophole,” the attorney for Glass’ family, Siddhartha Rathod, said Tuesday.

Paul Millsap, who spent four of his 16 NBA seasons with the burgeoning Denver Nuggets, announced his retirement from basketball on Tuesday, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
