LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles police say two men were shot and killed by security guards when they tried to rob a strip club in the San Fernando Valley. Capt. Paul Vernon tells KABC-TV that the guards confronted the gunmen when they stormed into Xposed Gentleman's club in Canoga Park early Saturday. Vernon says both suspects were shot and died at the scene. The Los Angeles Times reports the guards were injured and hospitalized in stable condition. Guns were recovered from both suspects. Vernon says based on their tattoos police believe the gunmen were gang members.
