Two people were injured after a car and motorcycle collided early Wednesday morning in Fountain. The motorcycle riders were headed southbound on Highway 85/87 when a car turned in front of them to get onto Plaza Boulevard, according to Fountain police in a report from Gazette news partner KKTV. The driver of the car was not hurt, but the two riders suffered serious injuries. Police say neither rider was wearing a helmet. Southbound Highway 85/87 was shut down for a few hours while police investigated the crash site.
