GLENWOOD SPRINGS — Authorities say two people were injured when their car crashed into a cow on a highway near Glenwood Springs. The Colorado State Patrol says the car hit the cow on Highway 82 about half an hour before sunrise Tuesday. The cow, which was standing in the right lane, was killed. Investigators say the 51-year-old driver from Basalt and a 17-year-old girl suffered moderate injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital.
