2 Hit By Amtrak Train On Trestle, Taken To Hospital

(AP) — Authorities say two people on a 40-foot-tall railroad trestle in West Hartford, Vermont, were hit by an Amtrak train and taken to a hospital. The Valley News reports (http://bit.ly/1IeLNbK) Fire Chief Scott Cooney said one person was taken from the trestle, which crosses the White River, to an ambulance at about 11:45 a.m.
