SCHENECTADY -Meredith Anker will soon be able to enjoy the lovely views of the nearby Mohawk River from her living room without worrying as much about the ice jams and torrential rainstorm that sometimes sends the waterway hurtling above it banks onto her property that has flooded twice since 1993.Though Anker wasn't around Wednesday morning to witness a flat bed truck with a hoist and a large Bobcat slowly tug her nearly 200 year old home to its new resting place, she relished the thought putting this years long saga behind her."I started this process in 2013 so the fact that it's going ahead is really exciting to me," said Anker over the phone Wednesday.
