Deaths from traffic crashes across Michigan over the Memorial Day holiday this year were up 50 percent compared to 2017, preliminary reports show.According to Michigan State Police, 15 people died in 11 traffic crashes over the holiday, running from 6 p.m. Friday, May 25 through 11:59 p.m. Monday, May 28.
