A Maryland man was killed and four others were injured in a Thursday morning crash on U.S. 40 near Fraser, police said. The crash happened around 9:25 a.m. Thursday, after a pickup truck traveling east lost traction on the icy highway, spun across the median and collided with a semitrailer traveling west, according to a news release from the Fraser and Winter Park Police Department. Police said the driver of the pickup truck, a 37-year-old Aurora man, and three other passengers were hurt in the crash.
