Kevin Bacon turns in a muscular performance as Sheriff Kretzer, who loses the title vehicle in the flinty drama “Cop Car.” Writer/director Jon Watts’ nifty indie thriller has two young kids, Travis (James Freedson-Jackson) and Harrison (Weys Welford), taking Kretzer’s car out for a joyride when the sheriff leaves it unmanned.
