As a Broward homeowner, I’ve wondered for years why my homeowners’ insurance premiums are so high. After reading Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis’ comments in the Sun Sentinel about Farmers’ “woke” policies making it “the Bud Light of insurance,” the reason is clear.
